Hire Ordsall Hall

Great Hall at Ordsall Hall

Ordsall Hall - Salford’s Grade 1 listed Tudor manor house – was first recorded in 1177. Since then, it has been home to Medieval gentry, Tudor nobility, Catholics loyal to the crown, butchers, farmers, an Earl, an artist, priests, scout troops, mill workers, cows and several ghosts!

Today, it is an engaging museum, a wedding and a conference venue open throughout the year. Surrounded by two acres of organically managed gardens, it boasts hands on exhibitions, immersive room settings, meeting rooms and a small cafe.

With a convenient location close to Manchester City Centre and a stone’s throw away from Salford Quays, Ordsall Hall is the ideal location for that special event.

"Wholehearted thanks from all of us at BBC Children's for a superb day yesterday. The team were buoyant and in such good spirits and loved the venue, the grounds, the food - everything! What a wonderful oasis Ordsall Hall is and right on our doorstep. Everything was faultless and the day ran seamlessly and I cannot thank you enough for you help in making our Away Day 'brilliant'.

A superb venue, fantastic staff, outstanding catering - thank you both and please extend our thanks to the lovely staff that worked with you on the day. We will be back and we will spread the word to our teams back at Media City.

I hope you continue to flourish and do well throughout the summer months ahead - Ordsall Hall is a gem of a place and we loved our visit".

" It was the first time we had used Ordsall Hall as a venue for our annual Volunteer Awards Evening. We were delighted and all the feedback we've received has been very positive. It's a unique venue - full of history and we couldn't have asked for more from the friendly staff who ensured the smooth running of the event and catering. The facilities exceeded our expectations and would fully recommend Ordsall Hall as a venue. We hope to return next year.
