Salford Libraries Live
This ambitious arts programme will engage existing library users and museum visitors in high quality arts events, performances and activities at Eccles, Pendleton, Swinton and Walkden Library and Gateway Centres and at Salford Museum and Art Gallery. This research and development programme will make a positive contribution to public perceptions of libraries as welcoming, exciting cultural venues. Launched in National Library Week (9-14 Oct 2017), each season will kick off with author events from high calibre writers, whilst the 2018 and 2019 Summer Reading Challenges will engage with high profile children's authors.
Salford Libraries Live is bringing great arts events to libraries across the city and Salford Museum & Art Gallery. There's something for everyone to enjoy, from live theatre and music, to visual and digital art, family shows and top author events, to hands-on creative workshops.
