We're excited to bring you a series of urban sketching sessions alongside the Manchester Urban Sketching exhibition 'One Drawing at a Time: Salford and Manchester'.

These sessions will be held in the Langworthy Gallery at Salford Museum & Art Gallery and are suitable for all. 

All sessions are free to attend unless otherwise stated.

Introduction to Urban Sketchers Manchester - 03/02/18

A talk on the origins of Urban Sketching and a look at how it has developed into the phenomenom it has become, by Simone Ridyard, Founder of Urban Sketchers Manchester.

The talk will be followed by a chance to meet artists from the Manchester group for a peek inside their sketchbooks and a bit of sketching!

£10 per person + booking fee

Join artist and Urban Sketcher Caroline Johnson in this practical workshop where you will produce work inspired by the building and collections on display. Limited materials will be available. Suitable for ages 16+.

Please bring your favourite drawing materials, sketchbooks or paper. Some limited materials will be available.
