The Easter holidays are nearly here! If you're looking to keep your children active, entertained and inspired this half term then we've got the perfect range of activities for all ages.

Booking

Unless otherwise stated please book your child onto activities here. If your child is a new member you will need to sign up your child first and then use their registration details (Member ID and PIN) to book and pay for the activity. Alternatively, you can now book onto all our sports courses by calling Ordsall Leisure Centre on 0161 848 0646. 

Easter Sport Camps

We have plenty of activities this Easter for boys and girls of all abilities aged 3-16!

Gymnastics, Trampolining & Dance at Ordsall Leisure Centre

Monday 3rd to Friday 7th April

Children can join our qualified British Gymnastics coaches and dance team for three fun filled hours each day. They'll gain new gymnastics and trampoline skills and learn an exciting dance routine.

Swim Camp at Worsley Leisure Centre

Monday 3rd to Friday 7th April

There's fun in and out of the water, with water polo, stroke clinics, snorkeling and dry activities including aerobics, flexibility training and arts & crafts. Children ust be able to swim 25m and be confident in deep water to attend.

Multi-Activity Camps at St Mark's CE Primary, Worsley

The School Sports Team provides fun-filled, action packed camps, throughout the week. Children can play their favourite sports and take part in our Coach Challenges, there's Dance and Gymnastics sessions for those who like to jump, roll and climb as well as arts and crafts for anyone looking to get more creative.

Watersports Activities

Watersports

Exciting watersports activities for 8-16 year olds. All activities are based at Helly Hansen Watersports Centre unless otherwise stated.

Aqua Activities

Monday 3rd to Friday 7th April

These courses are all about fun and provide a taster for all different watersports with the chance to try kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing or raft building.

Sailing Stage 1

Monday 3rd to Friday 7th April

The complete introduction to dinghy sailing, by the end of the course, children will have a basic understanding of how a boat sails and some experience of steering.

Adventure Week

Adventurers will get to spend 3 days trying out a wide range of activities here at Salford Quays including most of our watersports and climbing. Then they will spend 2 days doing activities offsite, going on a real adventure such as a long canoe trip and possibly some outdoor climbing on real rock.

Junior Learn to Wakeboard

Monday 3rd to Friday 7th April

Junior riders can get out on the water on our Wake Park and test their technique against the Cutting Edge Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. Each level achieved results in a certificate for their Cutting Edge log book.

Rookie Lifeguard Training

Monday 3rd to Friday 7th April

This special introduction to personal lifesaving and lifeguarding provides children with techniques to assist others in danger, CPR skills and first aid knowledge. Children must be stage 5 swimming ability or above to attend. This activity will be held at Worsley Leisure Centre.
