Haunted Heritage and Literature

Join us for an evening of talks on the theme of ghost stories and haunted heritage with presentations by lecturers and postgraduates from Manchester Metropolitan University.

They will talk on the subjects; 'The Ghostly White Lady and Haunted Heritage', 'The Victorian Haunted House' and 'Literary Ghost Stories of the First World War'. View full event.

Paranormal Study: In Search of the Anomalous

Wednesday 31 October, 8.00 - 11.00pm
£10 (plus booking fee), booking required

The public are invited to take part in a scientific study alongside students and researchers from Manchester Metropolitan University to investigate several reported paranormal sightings at Ordsall Hall.

After an introductory briefing and talk about the history of the Hall, small groups will be guided around the building to determine the validity of such claims and encounters. View full event.
