What's Behind the Wattle and Daub
Based in the North West, Ten Plus are a group of 18 fully qualified textile artists working with fibres and fabric to create contemporary textile art from a wide range of techniques.
In the lead up to their exhibition at Ordsall Hall in the Spring of 2013, the group are working in partnership with members of North Salford Youth Centre.
The young people have been inspired by the idea of what may live behind the wattle and daub at the Hall and are working to create their own fantastical creatures that will inhabit spaces in the Hall during the Ten Plus Textile’s exhibition.
