Visit Ordsall Hall for a special music festival, that’s half a century in the making…

MAPAS, Salford’s music and performing arts service celebrates its golden anniversary with a special 12 hour live music festival at Ordsall Hall, the city’s famous Tudor mansion.

Join us as musicians of all ages from 6 – 76 will perform throughout the day in ensembles and choirs ranging from string orchestras to rock bands. This is your chance experience performances of everything from Mozart to Motorhead!

There’ll be songs especially written for the event, old favourites, plus a complete rendition of the Beatles Sergeant Pepper album that also celebrates 50 years in 2017.

Musicians from the MAPAS ensembles, including Salford Youth Orchestra, Youth Concert Band, rock groups and Big Band will be entertaining the crowds with music from their repertoire over the years.

Car parking

There will be a limited number of parking places on site for Blue Badge holders

There will be free parking available at The Soap Works, Ordsall Lane, which is within walking distance of Ordsall Hall and will be clearly signposted.
