Exhibition: PRINT UnLtd
Challenging and questioning perceived constricts and rules around printmaking, four artists have been commissioned to create new work for this pop-up exhibition.
Lubna Ali challenges the notion of the value of a print, using geometric patterns inspired by her Islamic heritage; Claudia Alonso explores the perceptions of photography as print; Joey Collins gathers source material from the streets and allows chance to play an integral part to the way he approaches his practice; and Gwilym Hughes abstracts anonymous faces found in Salford Museum's stores.
This dynamic selection of work will engage and inspire audiences opening up new dialogues and debates on the nature of printmaking. #PRINTUnLtd
