Halloween Spooktacular | Witches Walk

Witches WalkHalloween Spooktacular

Friday 25 October, from 2pm, Buile Hill Park
Charges apply for some activities, no booking required

Our popular Halloween Spooktacular is back! Come along to Buile Hill Park from 2pm onwards and enjoy some spooky family fun.

Activities will include:

  • Frightful Face Painting
  • Gruesome Glitter Tattoos
  • Fairground Rides*
  • Creepy Craft Workshop
  • Curious Critters; meeting bugs, reptiles and exotic animals
  • Spooky Storytelling
  • Hot and Cold Food & Drinks
  • Character Meet and Greet and Photo Booth

* Buy a fair wristband in advance and get up to 2 hours unlimited rides for just £5 per person.

Please note charges will apply for some of the activities listed above.

Witches Walk

Friday 25 October, from 4pm, Buile Hill Park
£3 per person (under 2's free), booking required

Last year our Witches walk was a sell out! It's back and BIGGER and BETTER than ever, with even more spooky zones, scary characters, amazing special effects, stilt walkers and live dance performances. It's frightfully good fun for the whole family, just as long as you're brave enough...

NEW FOR 2019 - Our 'Fast Track Package!' - beat the queues with fast entry (entry to any walk; 4pm, 5pm, 6.15pm and 7.30pm), Character meet and greet, plus a free goody bag for children, free souvenir photo for adults and a hot drink of your choice or a bottle of water.

Walks are being held at 4pm, 5pm, 6.15pm and 7.30pm.

You will need to purchase tickets for both yourself and your child(ren). Under 2's go FREE but you must select an under 2's ticket to enable them to enter the walk. View full event.

Sport Activities

Sports Activity Camp: Ambrose Barlow

Monday 21 to Thursday 24 October, 8am - 6pm, St Ambrose Barlow RC High School

The BEST Holiday Camp in the city is back for October half term!

Come and join our team of experienced tutors and specialist coaches in a variety of workshops and coaching sessions including dance, drama, music and sport. Children will learn new skills, be creative and most of all have fun! View full event.

Suitable for children aged 5-12 years.

Offsite activities will also be available to swimming for children 8 years and over. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

PLEASE NOTE: This Camp is the popular Ambrose Barlow Holiday Camp we run during the summer holidays.

There are two start/finish time options for this camp:

  • 8.00am - 6.00pm - £68 per week / £20 per day
  • 9.00am - 3.30pm - £44 per week / £15 per day

 

 


Deadly Dance Camp

Monday 21 to Thursday 24 October, 10am - 12pm, St Paul's Community Centre, Walkden
Free | Ages 8 - 16 years |  Booking required

Join our Dance Team and Walk the Plank to prepare spooky themed dance routines to perform at The Witches Walk on Friday 25 October. Please note dancers MUST be able to attend all rehearsals and the performance at The Witches Walk. On the day of the performance dancers will be required from 2pm until 7.30pm.

Your child will be performing at the 4pm, 5pm and 6.15pm walks.

The Deadly Dance Camp will be running from Monday 21 to Thursday 24 October from 10am-12pm. Please bring refreshments to rehearsals. View full event.
