Armed Forces gym membership

At Salford Community Leisure, we are keen to show our support for our local armed forces community and the Fighting Fitter campaign.

We have a special monthly pass for members of the armed forces, which can be picked up at any of our leisure centres.  For only £25.00 you can get one month’s unlimited access to activities and sessions including gym, swim, sauna and classes at our 8 leisure centres across Salford along with a number of extra member benefits and discounts.

Serving armed forces members can also benefit from our concessionary prices for other membership packages:

These concessions are also available for ex-members of the armed forces who are claiming benefits, full time students, carers or those aged 60-69. Simply show your official military ID to benefit from these great deals.

Walking with the Wounded

Established In 2010, Walking with the Wounded (WWTW) supports vulnerable ex-serviceman and women re-integrate back into society and sustain their independence.

The charity focuses on employability, mental health and early intervention services to provide social inclusion, independence and helping to break the cycle of veterans being a disproportionately high cohort of homeless, police custody, unemployment and mental health statistics. Walking with the Wounded's programmes all work in harmony to address persistent social problems and make lasting improvements in veterans' lives; breaking the cycle of poor outcomes by focusing on the causes of the problem rather than it's symptoms.

We can now offer FREE Aspire Gym Memberships to ex-serviceman and women who are being supported by Walking with the Wounded. To register your interest, please email us at social.inclusion@scll.co.uk or call 0161 778 0553.
