The Friends of Salford Museums' Association

The Friends of Salford Museums' Association (registered charity number: 1057371) was formed in [insert date] to further the education of the public through the promotion, support, assistance and improvement of Salford City's two Museums and Art Galleries: Salford Museum & Art Gallery and Ordsall Hall.

The Friends are a group of like-minded individuals who support the work of Salford Museum & Art Gallery and Ordsall Hall by delivering a programme of Friends’ activities around our collections, local history, local heritage and the arts.

The Friends are involved with our restoration projects, our work to re-design our galleries enabling us to display more items from our archive collection, and at events including the annual flagship fundraising event – Ordsall Hall’s Annual Summer Garden Party – which takes place each July.

The Friends are a membership organisation and membership costs just £10 per person per year and members receive Friends newsletters 3-times a year as well as 10% discount in the café and gift shop at both venues. To become a Friend, please contact membership@friendsofsalfordmuseums.org or click here to purchase or renew your membership online. Alternatively membership can be bought in person from the shop at Salford Museum & Art Gallery and Ordsall Hall. If you apply in person please complete a Friends Membership Form.
